You were born. You got through school. You scored a great job and have the family you always wanted. What then? Your life is a journey that will end. The Bible says, It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Heb. 9:27). On Judgment Day, where will you spend eternity? Test yourself: Have you ever lied? Stolen? Used God's name in vain? Jesus said that if you lust, you have already committed adultery in your heart. If you said "yes" to any of those questions, then you will be guilty on Judgment Day, and the penalty is Hell. However, out of His love and mercy, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to willingly suffer and die on the cross to pay the painful punishment for sin. Then, He defeated death and rose from the grave. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me" (John 14:6). Repent (turn from your sins) and place your faith in Jesus Christ, and God will forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life. Then, read the Bible daily and obey what you read (see John 14:21).
