For years people have reported sightings and evidence of Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster, and aliens. Yet, the search for the truth remains elusive. While searching for confirmation about the unknown, we can easily overlook the most significant truth of all—the truth about ourselves and our relationship with God. Jesus says, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). Failing to do the will of the Father is called sin. Sin violates our relationship with God and, if not atoned for, will disqualify you from heaven. 2nd Peter 3:9 reveals God’s will: He is “not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” God provided a way for our relationship with Him to be restored. God made a way for us to be forgiven for our sins against Him. God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfectly righteous life and then to die in our place on the cross for our sins. On the 3rd day, Jesus rose from the grave defeating death. This was all performed in history to fulfill God’s predetermined plan which He foretold in advance in the Scriptures. God commands all people everywhere to repent (to turn from sin) and to place our faith in Jesus, who alone can save us (Acts 4:12; 17:30). That is the only way our relationship can be restored with Him. This is the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. www.YouGotOurTract.com
