Do you know which road to eternity you are following? After you die, you will stand before the holy, loving, God of all creation and give an account for your life (Heb 9:27). God is perfectly holy and righteous, and you’ve been created in His image (Gen 1:27). When you lie, steal, blaspheme, commit sexual immorality, or even hate someone, you reveal your sinful heart! You are a sinner who’s broken God’s law, and God is a just judge. Therefore, God must punish you. God’s eternal punishment in Hell for sinners is righteous justice because we have sinned against Him, an infinite being. But God the Father, in perfect love, sent His only Son into the world to save sinners (1 Jn 4:14). To satisfy God’s wrath toward sinners, He crushed His Son on a cross (Is 53:5). Jesus endured the punishment sinners deserve, then rose from the grave 3 days later! In exchange for wrath, sinners may receive the righteousness of Jesus by repenting and putting their faith in Jesus (2 Cor 5:21, Mark 1:15). Call on the name of the Lord Jesus today — and be saved. Do not rely on your self-righteousness to please God, but only hope in the righteousness which is found in Jesus Christ for your salvation. The Bible says the road is narrow that leads to life!
