In case there's ever been any doubt, here's your man card. Use it carefully. Do anything girly, and you'll get it punched. Get it punched four times, and it's revoked! So the question is what does it take to be a real man? Micah 6:8 says, "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God." Do you do "good" (moral excellence) by God's definition? Do you do all things "justly", in accordance with God's standards? His standards are seen in the Ten Commandments. Do you seek Him before all else? Do you lead your family in worship once a week? Are you faithful to your wife? If you don't or aren't, you violate the spirit of these Laws. Lawbreakers are cursed to an eternity in Hell (Gal. 3:10). But Jesus became a curse on your behalf (Gal. 3:13), taking this curse away. He became a sin offering on the behalf of sinners so that if they repent of all known sins and believe in Christ, they can have the righteousness of Christ credited to them (2 Cor. 5:21). He also rose from the dead proving He is God (1 Cor. 15:3-4). Be a real man and follow Jesus Christ: it's not easy. He calls you to come and die to everything else (Lk. 9:23).
