Thank you for serving me! Now I want to serve you by sharing some good news. This news will sound truly good when you understand the depths of God's love and just how far He went to save you.
The Bible says that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). All people break God's laws in their thoughts, words, and deeds. We do this because we have sinful hearts that cause us to rebel against God and go our own way. Our rebellion has made us enemies of God worthy of "eternal punishment" (Matthew 25:46).
But this is why the good news is so good! You see, even though we have treated God so badly, He chose to love us despite our sin. How did He do that? By sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of the world. 1st Peter 3:18 says, "For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit." Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead so that we could be forgiven of our sins and brought into a right relationship with God!
If you want to be forgiven and enjoy a relationship with God forever, you must repent and put your faith in Jesus. Repentance is making up your mind to turn from your sins and following Jesus for the rest of your life. Faith is trusting that Jesus' death on the cross was enough to forgive you of all your sins and make you right with God. My hope is that you will accept God's offer of salvation and become His child today. God bless you! TheExaItedChrist.com
