Jesus said in Matthew 5:48 that you must be perfect as God is perfect. If you have broken even one commandment you are under God's curse, deserving condemnation (Gal 3:10). So what hope does anyone have? Jesus Christ lived the perfect life that no one else could, He willingly died in your place to pay for the sins you have committed and then conquered death.
