Thank you for allowing me/us to serve you. I hope my product(s) and/or services exceeded your expectations. Serving you is important to me because the Bible says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord . . . You are serving the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23-24). Please allow me to serve you again by telling you this: Jesus said of Himself, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Why did Jesus give His life? Creating you in His image, God has written His law on your heart (a conscience). For example, you know it’s wrong to lie, steal, hate, and take God’s name in vain because the God who created you isn’t a liar, a thief, a murderer-at-heart, or a blasphemer. Yet, like the rest of mankind, you have broken God’s law and sinned against Him. God—who is holy, righteous, and just—must punish sinfulness and the punishment He has determined for sinners is eternity in hell. Yet God has made a way for you to be forgiven and reconciled to Him. God the Father sent His Son to earth in the person of Jesus Christ—truly God, truly Man, and without sin. Even though Jesus was not a sinner (2 Corinthians 5:21), He died a death He did not deserve on the cross, shedding His innocent blood, and taking upon Himself the punishment you rightly deserve for your sins against God. Three days later, He forever defeated sin and death when He rose from the grave. What God commands of you is that you repent (turn from sin and turn to Him) and, by faith alone, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then and only then will He forgive your sin, reconcile you to Himself, and grant you eternal life. Turn to Christ and live while God has given you time.
