Do good people go to Heaven? The Bible says there is none “good” but God. Answer these questions honestly to see: Have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen anything (the value is irrelevant)? Ever coveted something? (Coveting is desiring something you don’t have.) Ever used the name of the Lord in any way other than to bring Him honor? (That’s called blasphemy.) If you answered “Yes,” you’ve violated 4 of God’s 10 Commandments! Jesus taught the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all (100%) your heart, soul, mind and strength. Have you always sought God’s glory above all else and obeyed Him? Based on your answers, you have failed to meet God’s standard of “good.” God created you and gave you life. You rebelled against God and are storing up wrath for yourself on the Day of Judgment. The Bible teaches that it is appointed once to die and then face judgment and that no liar, thief, covetous person, or blasphemer will enter Heaven, but Hell will be their destination; a place of everlasting torment, the lake of fire, a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. Whoever has broken even one of God’s righteous laws will justly be found guilty and sentenced to Hell for their crimes against Him. God is “good” and must punish all sin, but God does not want any to perish and He demonstrates His love for us in this: that while we were yet sinners Christ died for our sin. God put the punishment for sin upon the sinless Lamb of God and poured out His righteous wrath on the cross. God demonstrated His justice for the whole world to see and through Jesus you can be saved from the wrath that is to come. In order to receive this free gift of God, you must confess that you are guilty and deserve to be punished for your sins. You must repent (turn from your rebellion and turn to God) trusting in Jesus’ sinless life, substitutionary death, and resurrection on the 3rd day fulfilling God’s promise revealed in the Scriptures. Jesus is offering to pay the debt for all who will believe in Him with His blood and the resurrection proves that only He has the authority to forgive sin, which no other religious “system” can do! He is offering you pardon. Repent today! Today is the day of salvation says the Lord! Then read the Bible and obey what you read. www.YouGotOurTract.org
